Mike Thome has held a similar position with Samband of Iceland/Iceland Seafood Corporation since August 2004. Previous to that he was the controller for Iceland Seafood Corporation since 1997. Mike worked for a poultry company, Rocco Enterprises, Inc in Harrisonburg Virginia, from 1992 to 1997 in the corporate accounting/finance area. Other positions held were with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York as an internal auditor and with a Certified Public Accounting firm for four years in Northern Virginia.
Mike is a CPA, holds a MBA from The College of William and Mary and a BS in Accounting from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Mike is married with two daughters and two sons.
